Dr. Rosenthal was born and raised in Culver City, a suburb of Los Angeles. After attending Santa Monica College, where he was a Lawrence Welk Scholar and Lear-Siegler Scholar, he completed his studies at UCLA and advanced to their School of Dentistry. Named a Regent's Scholar and State Fellow, Dr. Rosenthal earned his dental degree, Phi Beta Kappa. True to his roots, Dr. Rosenthal remained in California and has been in private practice in San Ramon ever since.
Dr. Rosenthal has a wealth of knowledge in various aspects of dentistry, including cosmetic dentistry, implant dentistry, multidisciplinary dentistry, full mouth reconstruction, TMJ dysfunction and diabetes and oral health. He shares his experiences and further educates himself in the latest advances in dentistry through active memberships in the following professional organizations:
- American Dental Association
- California Dental Association
- Contra Costa Dental Society
- San Francisco Academy of Advanced Dental Education (founding member)
- California State Dental Board - Expert Examiner
Dr. Rosenthal resides in San Ramon and has two daughters. In his spare time, he enjoys going to the movies, stamp collecting, art, and participating in many outdoor activities, including camping, hiking, bicycling and outdoor photography. He also loves his rock and roll music, and plays the drums.
